We’re excited to announce that as part of #ScienceWeek we’ll be having a family-friendly talk on the Geology of Kilkenny with Dr Siobhán Power from the Geological Survey of Ireland. This is a free event for anyone who loves science, whether young or old. Anybody who has been enjoying the RTE series ‘The Island,’ all about the geology of Ireland, will find this fascinating! From the Carboniferous limestone to the rock of the ‘Marble City,’ you’ll learn the dramatic history told in Kilkenny’s stone.
